Quote form: your name, email address, company, job title and message, and the options you choose (company type, project type, budget, how you heard about us).

Join us form: your name, email address, role, city, country and message.

Newsletter: your email address.

With a quote request we also record where it came from: the page you sent it from, the page you first arrived on, the website that sent you to us, any campaign tags in the link and, if you came from a Google ad, the click id Google adds to it. Your browser keeps this in the page's memory while you browse; nothing is stored on your device.

We use these details to reply to your enquiry or application, to send the newsletter you signed up for, and to see which channels bring us work. When you send the quote form we email you a confirmation, and the newsletter starts with a welcome email. We do this in our legitimate interest in answering enquiries and running our business, and for the newsletter with your consent. We do not sell your details.

We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used: which pages are visited, how visitors arrived, the type of device and browser, the approximate location, and whether a form was started or sent (never what was typed into it). Google Analytics sets cookies to recognise a returning browser. It runs only on www.8020films.com.

Our pages use Google reCAPTCHA to check that forms are sent by a person. It sends Google information about your browser and how you use the page, and Google's Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy) and Terms of Service (https://policies.google.com/terms) apply. We also use your IP address to limit repeated submissions, and it can appear in our server logs.

Vercel hosts the site and its server logs. Supabase holds our database. Resend sends our emails. Google provides Analytics, reCAPTCHA and Google Ads. They process the data for us under their own data protection terms, and some of them do so outside the UK.

We keep enquiries, applications and where they came from for as long as we need them to handle the enquiry and our business relationship, and then delete them. Your newsletter address stays on the list until you ask us to remove it.

You can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, delete it or stop using it. Email hello@8020films.com. If you are not happy with our answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office: https://ico.org.uk
